I’ve made it a habit to run Privacy Scan immediately after closing the browser. It’s helped me keep my Macs trouble free.

First of all you’ve got a MAC - YOU DONE GOOD Second item you need is PrivacyScan - It’s simple, it works NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SAID

This app seemed to work fine originally, but I noticed lately that it is not clearing my history on safari consistently.

Privacy Scan works very well. Its fast to use and fast to clean. Love the tracking clean up and freeing up the cache memory.

this app seems to clear cookies across multiple browsers however upon closer inspection it leaves web history in the Safari WebpageIcons. It also leaves DNS cache in place so I would not recommend this application for anyone wishing to clean their web history

It seems to do everything it should. Im happy with the App.

This app crashes on me about 25% of the time its used.

The only thing keeping me from giving this a perfect rating is the user interface. For something that does what it does so quickly, theres an awful lot of mouse moving and clicking to get through. You click on the dock icon to get it going, you move the mouse and click on it to start the scan, then you move to mouse to the little garbage can icon to clean out all the stuff. It seems to me that having either a single Scan and Clean option, or else allow a RETURN or ENTER key to proceed through the steps - or even better, having the whole thing run automaticially unless you start it up with an Option Click (whereupon you must OK each step). Then, for most users, it would be lightning fast to simply run it every time you complete a web browsing session.

I wish it would offer to clean on Safari close. I enjoy the app.

I keep the icon in my dock and use it every night before I turn off my computer. Its faster than any similar apps Ive purchased--done in less than a minute. I had an issue with it hanging and the devs got right back to me and we fixed it. Apparently its a bug with some vid cards. I like the app and I like them. :)

Helps to keep my privacy. Great App. Everyone should use it.

I think this is probably a new developer. I really hope that he learns and works on improving this application. As such, I am not going to go into much criticism but I will say that this app is lacking many, many features if you want to make the claim that you will "rest assured that your tracks are covered." It is no where near that.

Simple, straightforward and effective. I would like to see a little more info about who has put what where, though.

Clears all your online history quickly and effectively. Definitely worth the cost.

it stalls everywhere unless you uncheck elements it does not "know" to dislike it will ask you to close this or that but it still will stall until you uncheck the magic combination complete wast of time compared diectly to CCLEANER

Good value. Efficient and effective. Use it all the time.

PrivacyScan works as advertized no more no less.

After upgrading to 10.11 I deleted and reinstalled this app due to a problem i encountered. In short the scan runs but the program hangs at the end of the scan and needs to be forced to quit. The scan and clean seems to have been completed but the bug is annoying. It happens on all three of my macs (a 27, and 2 airbooks). The delete and reinstall did not solve this problem.Fix this and I give 5 stars.
