It Misses A Load Of Files—Incomplete Cleaning

It is difficult to tell what this app has done for my computer (a Mac Mini) after it runs because it closes immediately upon finishing. Today, April 12, 2016, I ran PrivacyScan and after it finished, I ran Cleaner. CCleaner found and removed many more files. Here are some of the files missed by PrivacyScan.

11.3 MB of Firefox Internet Cache
327 KB of Firefox Site Preferences
131 KB of Opera Internet History
369 MB of Miscellaneous Cached files

I’d say that’s a rather startling number of files for PrivacyScan to have missed. I’m not suggesting PrivacyScan doesn’t work to remove a lot of garbage. I am saying perhaps PrivacyScan is just ONE of SEVERAL cleaners needed to remove unwanted files from the Mac.
