Fantastic but needs one fix

Great application worth downloading. Works thoroughly and fast. Please include in the next update a fix for the following:

When opening, the application believes that quicktime and preview are open when they are not. Requires starting and quitting Preview and or quicktime in order to finish scan.

Otherwise, fantastic. Thank you for making a useful and funcitonal app.
